Important Notes Before Purchasing Fresh Truffles

  1. Each truffle varies in size, shape, and number. Selection will be made at our discretion.

  2. Delivered truffles may have traces of soil or dirt. Please gently brush them clean before use.

  3. As orders are shipped upon request, we cannot accept cancellations, refunds, or changes to delivery dates after payment is completed.

  4. The ideal period to enjoy the aroma of fresh black truffles is approximately five days from the delivery date. This may vary depending on harvest timing, truffle condition, and storage. (Keep refrigerated.)

  5. While we ask all customers for their preferred delivery timing, truffles are natural products. Harvest conditions and demand fluctuations may require adjustments to the delivery schedule. We will keep you informed regarding any changes.

  6. The aroma of natural truffles diminishes rapidly over time. As this happens, the truffle’s weight also decreases. Please note that the weight at delivery may be a few grams lighter than at dispatch. The invoiced weight reflects the weight at the time of shipment.

  7. Delivery dates may vary due to air cargo delays or customs clearance procedures.

  8. As fresh truffles are wild, pesticide-free natural products, you may notice insect marks, small holes, cracks, chips, discoloration, or mycelium on the outer skin. These are natural characteristics and not defects. All truffles we sell undergo hygiene and radiation inspections by official inspection authorities in Italy.

  9. Fresh truffles are extremely delicate. If delivery is delayed due to absence at the time of delivery, we cannot guarantee the quality of the truffles.
